Questions for Alton Brown?

I'm interviewing Alton Brown tomorrow morning in advance of his appearance in Baltimore at the Second Annual Foodie Experience.

Is there anything you've always wanted to ask Alton Brown?

Hi, I have a fansite for Mr. Brown (www.allbrownfans.com) that I have operated for close to three years. I have asked him on several occations for an interview. He tells me he doesn't interview with blogs.

Please ask him what is the difference between this blog and a blog that helps his fans learn about his projects, including this upcoming event (which isn't listed on his own website). Does he just show graditude to major media and snub the real fans?

Oops, the url is:

Um, Lisa, maybe your fanblog would do better with the interview request if you represented a major newspaper as well. Just guessing ...

I'm not sure I would want to give my time to someone who appears to be rabidly interested in me, yet also a little angry.

Stay safe, Alton.

Mr Brown, my son Sam, and I are big fans of your shows- especially Iron Chef America. Can you tell us why Mario Batali is no longer part of the show?

What was your favorite Iron Chef America battle? Also do you have a favorite Chef? And what is your absolute favorite food?

Mario is no longer on the show because of a shortage of the "Duck feet" model of orange croc shoes. Thanks for asking!
