Have you tried Isabella's in Little Italy? I actually think they have better brick oven pizza then BOP

i have a strong aversion to BOP. it could be from too many office-sponsored lunches w/BOP, but even after a night of boozing in Fells, it's no longer appealing.
if i want thick crust, i go with Bartenders, in no-man's-Canton. haven't tried Johnny Rad's yet, but have been hearing really good things from those who have.
For a thinner, more traditional pizza: Squire's or Pizza Johns. For thin or coal-fired pizza, it's Iggie's, Joe Squared or Pub Dog.

The Squisito location in Severn has been there for years. Always thought it was a "front" since there were never any cars there. Looks like they're doing well though. Agree with the Seious Eats post that taste can vary by location. I've asked a few people who have been to some of the new locations and the response was not good.
Any way, I prefer Momma Roma in Odenton (Piney Orchard). The fact that it's near my house is a plus. I've heard good things about Mama Lucia in Hanover (on Dorsey Road), but never have been there.

Gils Pizza on BelAir Road in Gardenville is my favorite. Double Dough Double Cheese! the best!

Went to Iggies for the 1st time on Saturdays and LOVED it. We were starving and not sure how much to order. Ended up with 2 small pizzas, a salad, and some cannolis. And then we were still hungry. So we ordered another small pizza while an employee gave us the stink eye for staying at the table too long. But it's all good...we understand in advance that Iggies isn't quite known for their stellar customer service skills. Now that we know how much to order, we'll be back for sure.

My travels to take me to Aberdeen on a regular basis and I have become a fan of Frank's on BelAir Ave in downtown Aberdeen.
It's a bit on the greasy side but it's the closest to NY style pizza I've had here. Crisp thin crust and just a great slice.

Frank's Pizza on Bel Air Rd.
Great pizza and other Italian dishes, in a strip mall. BYOB as well.
Although the pizza is good to go, it's much better on site.
It cooks in the box a smidge.
Completely different style of pizza than Gil's, but in the same league
