Jason Lear, who left the Wine Market back in October, has landed at Wayne Mahaffrey's Bistro Rx. Suzanne Loudermilk blogged about it yesterday on In Good Taste

Richard Gorelick was appointed The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic in September 2010. Before joining the paper staff fulltime, he contributed freelance criticism and features articles about food to area and regional publications. Along the way, he dispatched for short-distance trucking companies, shilled for cultural non-profits, and assisted in cognitive neurology research – never the subject, always the control.
He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.

Went in last night to test out the new items on the menu. WOW. The steak frites (with truffle fries) was absolutely fantastic. I felt like a kid saying "MMMMM" the whole time I was eating.
Wayne says they will be trying out new menu options for a couple of weeks, but I was pleased to see a bison burger, the steak, the half rack of ribs with crab cake, etc... it's a nice change.

Bistro Rx will now be our pick. I have had Chef Lear's food many times. He is incredible and they are very lucky to have him. I guess the folks at the Wine Market must be kicking themselves right now!! Kudos to Chef Lear!!!
