What are these krill doing in my sardines?

Krill, crustaceans that look like teeny tiny shrimp, have been showing up in lately in certain brands of Kosher sardines. That's not so good, and it's why the Orthodox Union today issued this advisory.

My penguin swears by them.

Actually krill oil is one of the most potent Omega 3 sources, super high in DHA/EPA components. Peer reviewed studies have shown it to be a strong anti-inflamatory, with significant positive effects on cardiovascular health, arthritis, PMS (... ladies), and depression.
