Baltimore Diner blog.
Richard Gorelick was appointed The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic in September 2010. Before joining the paper staff fulltime, he contributed freelance criticism and features articles about food to area and regional publications. Along the way, he dispatched for short-distance trucking companies, shilled for cultural non-profits, and assisted in cognitive neurology research – never the subject, always the control.
He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.

The bar 50 was annoying, but I find this oddly satisfying. And maybe even useful.

Is this literally the Top 50 in Baltimore? Literally nothing from the suburbs?

Literally. Maybe wait for the other 30 before going all literal. I'm sure Chili's is in the top ten

Literally, I think it is only City Limits, at least the bar list was.
List seems to be heavy on ethnic places so far.

Ethnic? I wonder if people in China say,
"Hey, you wanna go get some Chinese?"
"Nah, I had it for lunch."

Oh and ChimChim, have you heard of Sabor? Oregon Grille?

Look for Pasta Blitz to flank from the North.

Pasta Blitz, so we commited to the runs.

No, I'm thinking Pasta Blitz flanking the Hunt Valley line, cruising through Belgiumville and dominating Petit Louis. Lasagna uber alles.

Everybody knows that the Blitz was named legendary Cleveland runningback, Paul Blitz in 1925.

Don't know why Tio Pepe's did not make this list. It is still my favorite restaurant in Baltimore.
