A fourth good website -- Hamilton Tavern

Hamilton Tavern's website is easy on the eyes, with nice large type for us old heads. Navigation couldn't be simpler.hamilton

Frames have no place in the year 2010. The particular side effect being that you can't scroll the sidebar. The net result of that being that in a low-height browser window (say, a smartphone in landscape), the menu links are completely inaccessible without zooming out.

Simple bad design is way nicer than elaborate bad design, but shouldn't be something to celebrate in any circumstances.

do you realize that the Hamilton Tavern website does not have their phone number on it? I informed them of that last time I was there and they said it was on purpose! BTW, they have fabulous salted caramel cupcakes(get them w/ bacon!)

It's (410) 426-1930, but good luck. It goes almost immediately to an answering machine.

Yes, answering machine. I can't imagine anyone's voice mail being that choppy and muddles unless it was recorded in a fish tank.

But they will call you back!

I have been there several times and have never seen it that bright. Did they recently add more lighting?

anyway.....mmmmm.....crosstown burger!

i can tell you they don't take reservations, and a 45-minute wait didn't work for my teetotaler mom....sigh. to set at the crowded bar, sippin a good brew, waitin for a table & some pretty good grub. {leavin the mom home next time...}

Maybe if your guitarrón wasn't taking up an extra seat ...
