Where to hold your holiday party

CatinHat.jpgOnce again as the holidays loom I'm going to throw this request out for your suggestions. Maybe some of you had an office party somewhere good last year and will be willing to tell us about it. As for my office, I'll be happy if we just get a free lunch in the cafeteria again:

As the holidays get nearer and nearer I have a suggestion for an upcoming blog. Your favorite places to have a holiday office dinner/lunch.My husband has put me in charge of his holiday dinner. We need a place with a private semi private area that can accommodate 40 people give or take.Nothing crazy priced.

(Sometimes I come upon weird photos in the archives. The caption for this one is "A man holds a cat with a santa hat for post Christmas sales at an animal shop in Sofia, Bulgaria, Friday, Dec. 26, 2008." AP Photo/Petar Petrov)

Claddagh has a good upstairs area with pool tables. Mustang Ally would be fun for a rich office and Della Notte has been accommodating in the past.

What is crazy priced? I loved the Cloisters Castle on Falls Rd., but that may be considered expensive.

Or Henry's Bistro out in Phoenix / Jacksonville (they have a private room that has glass windows, kinda neat, and the food was good in a non-pretentious way) but you have to overlook the location.

wait for it...wait for it...

I THOUGHT that cat looked Bulgarian...

How about holding your party at a restaurant in Hell, so I can enjoy a quiet dinner out in Baltimore during the month of December?

What are we waiting for? And how much longer do we have to wait? I demand speedier gratification!!!

A likely repeat of last year's holiday party slugfest.

Oh dear God, the suspense is killing me!

I can't believe no one has suggested Chicken Rico yet.

Looney's Pub South in Maple Lawn has a nice room that holds up to 70 people and can handle parties up to 300 people in the entire place.. Looney's in Canton can handle up to 200 people upstairs in a casual atmosphere..Great Food & resonable prices

This is so cute. Lovely spammy. Its looking same like one there in other posts.

I've been to a couple of good holiday parties at the Waterfront Hotel in Fells Point, good food and great casual atmosphere. Although with the current economy it's hard to imagine how many businesses will splurge on a party.

Red Brick Station on the Ave at White Marsh has a private room. I've been to many a rehearsal dinner there. Their food is good, several steps above traditional bar food but nothing over the top pricey.

Check out Alonso's & Loco Hombre's private dining room.

Come Host your Holiday Party here at Tabrizi's located at the Harborview Marina. We have beautiful scenery and spectacular food. We have full views of the Inner Harbor without being dowtown with the tourists. Ask for Katie Shannon our Director of Catering and she will be glad to assist you!

Well, at least she's not trying to hide the fact that she works for the restaurant. EL
