Those pesky stars again
It turns out that Richard didn't have as good a meal as I thought at ZhongShan. He gave it 2 1/2 stars, not 3 1/2. Somewhere in the production process another one crept in. It's been fixed online now.

Now I think I know what you tried to say to me,
How you suffered for your sanity,
How you tried to set them free.
They would not listen, they're not listening still.
Perhaps they never will...

Lissa, I was getting worried that the reference was too obscure which I didn't want to think would apply to this group.

MrRational, I got your reference, but didn't think it needed explaining. At least you didn't quote "American Pie".

The younger folks may not be familiar with that song, although a google of a line or two should bring it up.
One of the more interesting rituals I've been to was a service (vespers? early evening, Roman Catholic, no doubt Canon would know) at a monestary. Brother Bill walked in, talked about Van Gogh's spiritual life for about 2 minutes then queued up "Starry, Starry Night" on the tape deck and the slide projector containing slides of Van Gogh's pictures.
It worked very well in that context (a retreat).
