About this blog
Richard Gorelick was appointed The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic in September 2010. Before joining the paper staff fulltime, he contributed freelance criticism and features articles about food to area and regional publications. Along the way, he dispatched for short-distance trucking companies, shilled for cultural non-profits, and assisted in cognitive neurology research – never the subject, always the control.
He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.

If I click "Other" what are the options I will be voting for?
You won't be voting for any. You'll be telling me in a comment what you do want to talk about. I forgot to mention that's one of the requirements of voting for "other." :-) EL

I voted for "other" Sept 14 is my birthday, so I think we should be talking about ME! LOL!
Actually, they're all good choices and I have no preference.

I vote for discussing Joyce W.

Her taste in music is terrific.

Oh, gods, another virgo! I swear, I've been stalked my entire life by virgos.
*whimper*

Thanks guys! Yep, Lissa a true Virgo to the core!
Posted by: Joyce W. | September 3, 2009 8:04 PM
Lissa and Joyce,
I'm Sep 7, so another Virgo! I'm coming up tomorrow to B'more and OC to celebrate. I am just happy to be away from the job for a bit.
Maybe blogs draw Virgos.

How about we make up a League of Virgos?
Posted by: PCB Rob | September 3, 2009 9:51 PM
A League of Virgos sounds pretty scary.
Posted by: Hal Laurent | September 3, 2009 10:10 PM
Hal, I don't find a League of Virgos scary--just Very Particular!

How about we make up a League of Virgos?
I can see it now...all the straightening, advice and knowledge of how the world should be. Aligning the condiments properly in restaurants.
No, I'll be heading over to my corner, hiding under the table, thank you.

Hey enjoy your birthday trips, Fl Rob!
Lissa, we used to have mandatory training that you had to attend in your birthday month. Whenever it was the Virgo birthdays, the room was packed because we all signed up for the first one - All of us! OCD anyone?

Happy early B-day PCB Rob! Any chance you'll be able to hit the Charcoal Grill over the weekend? Enjoy your visit!
