Table Talk and Top 10 Wednesday

JordansFiletMignon.JPG

A lot has been happening today, so this is the first time I've had a chance to link to my Table Talk column and Top 10 Wednesday that appeared in the print edition.

I don't think the former had much news I haven't already published on the blog, but as usual it's interesting to see what comments were deemed worthy of inclusion with the Top 10.

Bellissimo in Bel Air is open for lunch. I took some colleagues there today and it was fine. They have a lunch menu which is a shorter version of their dinner menu (which covers it -- a little redundant). The service was particularly attentive. I had the lasagna, which was unusual and quite good. No red sauce in the layers, which consisted of good cheese, pasta, sausage and bread crumbs. But the fresh tomato puree underneath was fabulous, and a nice way to present it!

Can you share with us what has been happening today?

I usually do. :-) Most of it is boring, but there have been a lot of e-mails dealing with the Jordan's situation and once the news about the Brass Elephant broke, trying to find out more. This is also my deadline day for both Table Talk and my review. EL
