Where to get matzoh ball soup now?
I just now read the comments about the Suburban House fire story; somehow I missed them last night. I meant to post something on the fire last night -- I actually heard about it yesterday from someone my husband knows who's a restaurant junkie. He said, "Tell Elizabeth to blog about where Pikesville residents can get matzoh ball soup now."
Unfortunately, I don't know.

I believe the damages to S&H were minimal and they are stil opened for business as usual.
However, there's also Miller's Deli in the Greenspring Shopping Ctr on Smith Ave, and Lenny's Deli in Valley Village shopping ctr off of Greenspring Valley Rd and Reisterstown Road.
Ex-Mark's Deli in Reisterstown on Main Street has no re-opened yet as "Michael's Deli" but when they do I'm hoping they have a good Matzoh ball soup too. A bit far for Pikesville residents but perfect for me!

Nope, the damage was pretty extensive, and the Suburban House is closed, although they currently plan on re-opening at some point.

I heard the damage estimates are around $900,000.

You are right Sean. (I'm still catching up on my blog reading from being away most of the weekend). I'm really sorry for S&H and hope they are able to re-build and get opened again quickly. They are the only place that even comes close to NYC deli in Baltimore, IMHO. And, Joe and Mark are nice guys too.
