Pearls of wisdom from one so young

Gailor on my driving 20 minutes to Fells Point and another 20 minutes looking for a place to park so I could buy a loaf of multi-grain bread at Bonaparte Breads, not to mention my buying my tea from Vancouver, Canada: "Why don't you get addicted to something from the Hershey Corporation like I have? “Searching is half the fun: life is much more manageable when thought of as a scavenger hunt as opposed to a surprise party.” - Jimmy Buffett

We are now several transactions into a relationship with the Breadery, a small bakery in Ellicott City. They have been to the Bel Air Farmer's market the last several weeks and I now see that they are selling at Eddies. They have a couple of whole grain breads that we have become very fond of.

Elizabeth Large, The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic, blogs about memorable meals, dining trends, comings and goings on the restaurant scene and more.
Elizabeth Large retired in February. Until a new critic is named, Laura Vozzella will be blogging here. Vozzella has been a reporter with The Sun for 10 years. She’s covered small-town scandal (Columbia gym towel thefts!) and big-city mayors (O’Malley, Dixon).

Lately she has been writing about food (cilantro, pine nuts). She also writes The Talk, a weekly column about politicians and other local oddities (again: O’Malley, Dixon). She’ll continue with the food writing and The Talk column while blogging.
