Next Sunday's review: Taverna Corvino, part deux

TC3.jpgOK, let's take it from the top. Once more with feeling. Because of a bit of a glitch in the production process (new editors, vacations, yada, yada, yada), today's review of Taverna Corvino in Federal Hill was not in the paper. No review was in the paper. (Although it did say I was on vacation.) Nor will there be a Monday Morning Quarterbacking tomorrow.

I did get a very nice e-mail from one of my editors saying it wasn't my fault, which was very nice because at this point I was so confused I was perfectly willing to think it was.

So next week, I promise, my review of Taverna Corvino will appear in the Sunday Arts & Entertainment section.

The good news is that it's given me the opportunity to use lots of Jed Kirschbaum's very fine photos of the place. This one is of housemade linguine with Gorgonzola cream, toasted chestnuts and basil.

C'est la partie deux.

Silly Americain fillies

Awwww.... I think someone else misses Sam Sessa. You need to face the reality that La Sessa is now married and on his honeymoon. You can come to my next pool party if you promise to behave like a gentleman. I think you might like Vivian.

Or if not Vivian there is always Jesus the pool boy.

I don't think TM is interested in sharing Jesus the pool boy.

It was a tough day for the A&E section of the Sun. First, there was your missing review. Then, for those of us who do the crossword, the challenge of completing the puzzle without the last dozen "down" clues. Oh, well, I'll still take some sloppy editing over a Sunless Sunday.

Um, I think the first four comments here were supposed to be in the Deep Thought for a Monday post that's been going for two weeks.

flaquita? Are you shrinking flaca?

I agree with flaquita. Those four comments should be credited to that other post.
Thanks for screwing up, Pierre.

What other post ate you talking of? I know exacty what I say here. I was mkaing a joke of the lower Français in the the title "part deux".

Now I go hunting for deep Mondqys.

Whoooooooooooooosh....................

Oh, everyone misses Sam from EL to Sue Hopper.

I was longing for my daily dose of vitriol from Sue Hopper myself with my post admitting my dislike of Natty Bo and crabs. But surprise surprise no one has posted comments since last yesterday.

No querido bujo. Just got cuter is all.

Que bueno Flaquita.

Bujo, that's a weird Spanish word. I wonder if its root is onomatopoetic. Bu-jooo, bu-joo .. sound more like an owl that "hoot".

The blog makes everyone cuter

Owl, shouldn't that be "boo-HO"?
