Yet another Location of Doom

Georgies

Remember Georgie's of Canton? It was the last restaurant in the spot where Bruschetta and Gino Troia's had been.

I had hopes for it, but last spring it closed and nothing took its place.

If you were wondering what would come next, it looks like it won't be a restaurant. Midnight Sun Sam sent me this photo.

I guess 2304 Boston St. really was a Location of Doom for eateries.

Hmmm... at least it didn't go from animal "hospital" to Chinese "restaurant" ... New No Doggie?

Oh...I was actually at the zoning here for this. I was protesting something else, of course.

It is all about the parking. If you can convince the zoning board you have parking, you can get a waiver for anything.

Also, in other Boston Street news, the Sip & Bite still is closed. The sign on the door said "will reopen Friday, March 6" and now says "will reopen ?" with the rest crossed out.

Thanks for the update. Keep us posted. EL

Location of Doom | Animal Hospital.

Have no idea how the Animal Hospital will survive - there is no parking. Those of us who have pets know parking is a big deal with animal hospitals (and bars/restaurants too of course)!

There is enough parking for the zoning board.

(Yoikes! I have pets but no car. I must be in violation of something!)

Lissa, let me count the ways ...
