Teriyaki-flavored turkey jerky, part deux

turkeyjerky.jpg

I posted too soon last night. What should be in my inbox this morning but this fine photo from Gailor(there are two bags because they came in a set, she told me) and this e-mail:

Pic attached.  I think the turkey jerky will be going back to Costco.

I feel sick every time I look at it.

"Soft and tender?" Jerky is *not* supposed to be soft and tender.

I'm sure, standing in Costco, looking at the bright, friendly looking packaging, the turkey jerky seemed like a good idea (for an adventurous foodie.) It is a sign of Gailor's growing maturity that once home the folly became all too clear. And she kept the receipt so a return is possible.
