Next Sunday's review isn't

Just a reminder that next Sunday I won't have a review in the paper because I'm "on vacation," which means that I wasn't around for my deadline last week. By the time the newspaper says that, my actual vacation will be a distant memory.

When you put it like that, it's just sad. Go eat some chocolate.

According to Wikipedia, Monday is Prof. McIntyre's birthday. I think we should all drop by You Don't Say and wish him many happy returns.

About this blog
Richard Gorelick was appointed The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic in September 2010. Before joining the paper staff fulltime, he contributed freelance criticism and features articles about food to area and regional publications. Along the way, he dispatched for short-distance trucking companies, shilled for cultural non-profits, and assisted in cognitive neurology research – never the subject, always the control.

He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.
