In case you missed these reviews...

Edensdoro.jpgI just want to direct you to a few things in today's features section in case you don't read the print edition. First of all, Thursday Reviewer Richard ate at Eden's Lounge in Mount Vernon and liked it. Here's his review.

Rob Kasper wrote about takeout from Roy's Kwik Corner in Glen Burnie. I'll have to speak to him about ordering the devil's food cake over the pineapple upside down cake.

Midnight Sun Sam stopped at the new Abbey Burger Bistro. He didn't review it, but he had some interesting things to say about it on its opening night.

Finally, I thought I had found a story about passionate foodies I should link to, given the headline; but after reading it I realized maybe not.

Eden's tacks on a 20% gratuity for all parties? That seems a bit much. But then, they are going for the upscale vibe and think people going in there don't mind. I hope the service and food warrant it. That said, I wouldn't want to dine in a dark room with club music thumping away.

Rob's review was pretty good, and I guess being eye-to-eye with cake is too much of a temptation. I always enjoyed Rob's columns, especially his old "Saturday's Hero".

And the last blog post from Buz, yeah, that is kinda creepy. I don't miss that aspect of big city life.

Well, at least the domestic stabbing wasn't over owl meat....
