I (heart) Tribune Interactive
I hope all of you are enjoying the new servers as much as I am. I signed on this morning and, whoa, I was on the blogware. Wait. I need the time it usually takes to sign on to check my e-mail, answer a few of them, file my nails, put the laundry in the dryer. Now how am I going to get anything done? And what about the great novels I've been reading while I wait for the site to rebuild after I've had to kill out nine of the 10 comments you created when you kept hitting "post" out of frustration?
I could get to like this.

Comments
I read this headline as "I (heart) Tribune Invective".
Guess my expectations for the new blogware were a bit low.

Don't worry. I'm sure we'll find something wrong with it soon enough.

I tried to comment on the bagels post but got the "submitted too many comments" error.

Yes, I am enjoying the new servers and faster connection times.
I'm happy the migration went well, and I bet the IT folks are too.

It still seems to take a long time to getting the "comment pending" message after hitting the "post" button (around 12 seconds when I posted earlier today).

Not to be a super pain in the ano, but wouldn't the title work better with the special character available to all commenters as I ♥ Interactive? And the word heart in parens doesn't make sense because then I could read the title as "I Interactive" which sounds like a cool sci-fi post. Of course you are intereactive. I shouldn't be picking on you EL, sorry.
Now when are we going to get the current release of the blogware? This one is very very old. Like Nick Nolte old, not Catherine Deneuve old.
We are using MovableType 3.36 and the current version is 4.21. MT 3.0 was released in June 2004. MT 3.3 in June 2006. MT 4.0 was released in July 2007.
If you know anything about how new software changes over time, those dates should tell you a compelling story. Comments?
What you can do as a commenter and what I can do in the blogware are two different things. EL
