E-mails that leave me speechless

Here it is in its entirety. I'm still working on a reply:

Do you have any suggestions for a good Thanksging Day Lumch/Dinner. Turkey, etc.

Yes, you should go to Jack's Bistro.

Looks like the person is looking for a place to get a nice Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. Not many places are open on that day.

Not really sure how you have a job.....

Isn't Corks serving a Thanksgiving Prix Fixe menu for $59 per guest? I think they are serving this from 2-9. Check their website.

The person is probably just looking for a place to eat out for Thanksgiving lunch/dinner. Most places are closed.

I hope you don't get paid by the Sun for this blog....what exactly do you do?

Not enough. Pay, that is. p.s. Many places are open. :-) EL

Thanksging Day Lumch/Dinner. Turkey, etc. Yep. Turkey etc. is what I want for my Thanksging Day Lumch/Dinner. Especially etc.

EL, I can understand your shock at being asked such a question.

Here's a few that I would ask: In what area? For how many? At what price? Level of sophistication of the participants? Traditional? Casual? Sit-down? Buffet? What time? Special menu needs (i.e., vegetarian, lactose-free, kosher)?

Why did this one leave you speechless EL? Anyway, McCormick & Schmicks does a good one, that's where i went last year.

At least you're polite. As Retired in Elkridge so ably pointed out, that's not much information to go on when so many places serve Thanksgiving dinner. EL

Diner. Only place for the holidays. Real ones will be open.

Alternately, suggest Ra Sushi.

Alternately, suggest Ra Sushi.

Or Jack's Bistro.

Yes, Jack's Bistro is the one and only place that serves the Very Best Food every day of the year!

M&S Grill is open on Thanksgiving day. I go there for lunch, and they are currently handing out pretty little scrolled Thanksgiving menus tied with a green ribbon to advertise the fact they are open on T-day.

It's a little better selection than their regular menu, prices about the same. I didn't bother to look for turkey on the menu when I saw it, but I'm sure they will have it.

I am sure that Bob Evans or Friendly's will be open for Thanksgiving. I bet they serve turkey etc.

Jack's Bistro? Why haven't I heard of this before?

Who's Eric? And why does he think he can interrupt the rhythm of our reading like that?

"Fa Ra Ra Ra Ra" Sushi, makes me laugh. They should have a still-headed goose special for Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Eric doesn't like this blog.

I'll say. :-) EL

It sounds like Eric is just an angry post-menopausal man.

Hi EL and my former fellow Sandlotians,

This is the real and first "Eric" to post at this venerable blog of our fearless leader (don't know how I can prove that other than you're trusting my words here and I initiated the conversation about the seats at Woodberry Kitchen being cold). I'm not the one that would kick this blog around like that Eric above did. Its been a long time and honestly I missed everyone.

Too bad with my line of work I haven't had the time to post anything. Moved, economy, recession, etc., etc., etc....

I'll keep reading whenever I can. Keep the hope alive my peeps...I just had to redeem the only name my parents gave me ;)

Hi! Glad you're still alive. EL

Maybe you should call yourself Original Eric. It works on two levels. It's doubtful that the other will call himself Angry Eric or ...
