More Most Recent Comments

Bucky was the first to notice, and probably the first to ask for, a longer Most Recent Comments list to the right of the page. But I also have to give credit to Voodoo, who sent me an e-mail this morning reminding me to ask someone if the Most Recent Comments list could be expanded. ...

Web Editor Lauren responded incredibly quickly (considering what else she has on her plate) and now we have eight instead of five. I love that because it means older entries get new life and some very funny/insightful/helpful comments don't get lost in the shuffle.

While she was at it, she says, "I had one of our producers create a ‘Top Ten Tuesdays’ graphic to make the category pop a bit in the rail and give it its own branding."

Er...I guess Top 10 Tuesday isn't going to go anywhere soon, so let's get those thinking caps on, boys and girls.

Kudos to Web Editor Lauren...

Thanks for more recent comments.

Branding? Erm...top 10 silliest menu items?

I feel so validated. Clearly my suggestions are taken more seriously here than at home.

Now could you convince my wife that a jet ski is good investment?

Lissa, I can't think of any. What are some silly menu items? I need some silly today. Apparently Owl Meat is too busy peeling grapes for Bourbon Girl to bring the Fungasm today.

Thanks! Glad I could help =)

voodoopork, I can't think of any off hand, but I know I've seen cutsey food names on menus. Kind of like OMG's sandwich game today.

I really hate ordering stuff like the O. Gaz Mike Pizza.

Oh, Porcine One, a jet ski is a VERY good investment. Its just that its for the seller. Try telling the ever lovely Ms. Amanda that you saw something in the paper that said 'jet skis are a very good investment ...', you just can't remember where you saw it, but you did see it, honestly.

Hey--I asked for more recent comments months ago, perhaps before Bucky even joined the kids in the Sandbox. Just goes to show you how much pull I have around here ... But thanks Web Editor Lauren. Now how about my wish for being able to search by the name of the poster?

Moons Over My Hammy

Jet skis are just little boats. And you know what they say about owning a boat:

You start out owning the boat, but it ends up that the boat owns you.

Rooty Tooty Fresh and Fruity

Moons over My Hammy - Denny's right? I always order that one just because the name is so funny.

Bucky, I think it was Commodore Vanderbilt who said, concerning yachts: "If you have to ask how much it costs, you can't afford it."

Also, concerning boats, and this has been confirmed by some of my boat-owning friends: A boat is a hole in the water into which you throw money.

Moons over My Hammy ...I don't know Lj, I just heard it on a commercial. It does sound comical. Good to see you have a sense of humor.

Ms Lauren: 8 is not enough. I just got through the list of most recent comments and when I came back from the most most recent, the entire figgin (cross comment reference, not a typo) list was new. It must be blogging Friday in the offices of Baltimore (and big square states and Florida and ...)

So, like all little kids with a cookie in each grubby hand, I want more. Might we go to 10? What is the blogware maximum. (I just taught my spell check blogware, we use it so much around the Sandbox.)
