Too sad for words (at least there is no evidence of helmet hair.) I feel like the Sandbox should have had a going away lunch, where around 2.30 everyone is finally just standing around not sure what to do.

But, no goodbyes. Since we're virtual, it doesn't matter where you are. Hell does anyone actually know where the Feathered One is. Or, look at Mr. Bucky. Cornered in one of those big square things a bit past Frostburg. (Once you get that far out, what's another couple thousand miles, give or take?)

Now THAT is a man definitely capable of shallow thoughts!

EL you never told us how cute he was!

Certainly too young to retire!

Love the shirt!
Good luck with your new life après The Sun -that-is-slowly-sinking.
Don't forget the Sandbox!

It IS a great shirt. And never too young to retire - the younger the better I say, you've got more important things to do with your time! (if you're lucky enought to be ABLE to that is which is why I know they will carry my cold dead body out my work some day!)

About this blog
Richard Gorelick was appointed The Baltimore Sun's restaurant critic in September 2010. Before joining the paper staff fulltime, he contributed freelance criticism and features articles about food to area and regional publications. Along the way, he dispatched for short-distance trucking companies, shilled for cultural non-profits, and assisted in cognitive neurology research – never the subject, always the control.

He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.
