The Crab Week T-shirt

Mr. Old Fart has kindly designed us a Crab Week T-shirt. I briefly thought of getting some printed up as a fabulous prize for something or other, but it seemed like too much trouble. Anyway, here it is:

I saw a great t-shirt at Johns Hopkins this week. As many know, the Spring Fair is notorious for always being rainy. I saw a student wearing a Spring Fair 2008 t-shirt. On the back it said "STAFF" in big letters and underneath "We make the rain happen."

Replace the Crab Week line with Dining@Large and make it a go

I'd buy one. There's always Cafe Press.

Marylanders certainly do attack when it comes to crabs!

I would buy one. We could use a local t-shirt printing business.
Just think: we could be on the cutting edge of fashion in Baltimore. We would have people wondering what secret cult we were a part of.
It would be a shame to waste Mr. Old Fart's talents on a prototype only. I say we go for it!

The T-shirt that would be a big hit with the college kids: I Got Crabs on Dining@Large.

Seriously, why not get them made and sell them, proceeds to a good food-related cause. I'd buy a couple. They're my standard neighborhood garb in the summer.

I hereby volunteer, since I am unemployed anyway, to take on the task of getting these shirts printed. I don't know if a t-shirt place would do the back (the movie artwork) but it would be worth trying.
I don't know the logistics however. Maybe people interested would email their contact info to EL and then she would forward it?
Anyway, if we had enough orders to get a t-shirt print shop to take it on, I would be glad to handle it..
What do you think E?

I'm happy to forward people's e-mail around, but otherwise I probably should stay out of it. EL

Ok then. I throw down the gauntlet. Anyone interested in a t-shirt should send contact info to Queen Elizabeth via email. She will forward it, I will get back to everyone with a price. I won't place orders without money in hand, but rest assured that I won't steal the spoils and run off to Monte Carlo. Well, maybe to Delaware to play the slots, but not Monte Carlo :-)
Note to the Queen: do you want to make this a post on it's own, since, for some strange reason, the post on the Crab Week t-shirt didn't get many comments? I would hate to neglect your constistuency.

Susan--we all know that WNAJ stands for "who needs a job" but did I miss something that explains the new letters that follow? I'm guessing "but will gladly serve piglet"--am I close?

Hah Robert - "I Got Crabs on Dining@Large" thats awesome :)

I think the best bet would be having them digitally printed on demand...then you only get the t-shirts printed when someone orders them.

awesome print!
