I work with Morton's The Steakhouse and wanted to let you know that both the Baltimore and Annapolis restaurants are still accepting reservations for Mother's Day! They have a special prix fix menu for the day, including a choice of salad, entrée, side dish, and dessert, for $59 per person. They will also be open for special hours that day - 1 - 9 p.m. (normal hours are 5:30 – 11 p.m.). Additionally, Morton's will be offering a one time only, special Mother's Day Champagne Cocktail on Mother's Day. The cocktail has a Wild Hibiscus flower at the bottom of the glass, which blooms as the champagne is poured over it. The flower is edible. The cocktail will cost $16.

For $16, the mother's day champagne cocktail at morton's should have a $10 bill at the bottom of the glass instead of a wild hibiscus flower.

So to take my wife and 3 kids, we're talking about $400 including tax, tip, and just ONE of those $16 cocktails?

Uh, no thanks.

I can grill just as good of a porterhouse or NY Strip on the backyard grill. And not only can I throw some lettuce in a bowl with dressing, but our steak dinner will come with TWO sides and unlimited cocktails for mom, all for less than $75.

Women don't need to show any ID at Don't Know Tavern, they just need to show up with their special acquaintance to receive a free meal. Don't Know also has all you can drink bloody mary's and mimosas til 1pm for only $5. Happy Mother's Day.

Okay, my mom is back in Wisconsin but I would love to check out the complimentary bloody marys and mimosas at Loco Hombre. Therefore, applications for a substitute mom are now being accepted; the line forms to the left.
