More exciting Batter Blaster news

blaster%201.JPGThis is great. People all over the country are now e-mailing me Batter Blaster photos:

Subject: batter blaster

Elizabeth,

Since I live in Kentucky close to one of the stores listed on their website, I decided to try to find them when I went to that store today to buy veggies.

I found them in the refrigerated food section over the tortillas, next to the fridged waffles and under the mush.  They even had a price sticker.  Pics attached.  My advice to people who want them is to avoid Whole Foods, come to Kentucky and save a buck and a half.

If you think you get strange reactions to taking pics of food, you should have seen the reaction I got taking a picture of a can on a shelf, in an area that not that long ago was very rural!

Enjoy

See, Big Ace does rule the universe.

But has anyone used one yet??? Dammit...

Francesca - I bought a can and will be trying it Friday AM. I can't wait. It's my Good Friday penance ... er, treat.

$4.49 a can is still no bargain. I wish someone would try it and let us know how it is. Somehow I just don't think it can beat my buttermilk pancakes. It looks like something fun for my nephews to make though.

I just may try it this weekend..where else besides Whole Foods sells this stuff?

I bought a can this morning and will try it in the next day or two. There were only 4 cans left!

Does the "Original" in the name mean that it the first of many imitators (generic spray pancakes anyone?), or that there were, are, or will be other "flavors" (I can just imagine that little spray nozzle trying to pass a blueberry or chocolate chip)? Either way, the mind boggleth.

Greedygirl -- as of now, Whole Foods looks to be the only retail source in all of Maryland, according to the Batter Blaster website, where you can enter your ZIP code and find all dealers within a 25-mile radius.

Ok, I was at Whole Foods today and had to buy it. They should give you a commission. I'll try it with my kids this weekend. We make a pretty darn good pancake in this house, so I'll let you know how it measures up.

If I told everyone to go out and buy organic broccoli, I wouldn't get half as good a response. :-) EL

But we've all had the broccoli...

That's because there is so little HFCS in organic broccoli.

OK, Piano Rob, it's now Friday afternoon. Did you survive your Good Friday penance? Inquiring minds want to know.
