The Next Top Ten
OK, boys and girls, time to come up with another Top Ten Topic. I'm feeling uninspired this afternoon, and also wishing someone were home right now cooking dinner for me. So I'm not even going to offer any suggestions.
What are yours?
And because I know my reading public, I know you'll want to know what's in the photo. It's Hazlenut Obsession at Kings Contrivance in Columbia: Milk chocolate mousse with a crunchy hazelnut center covered in milk chocolate ganache with orange Grand Marnier sauce.

That looks Delicious.
What about Top Ten Restaurants with a menu item that you can't avoid ordering. Meaning you have that one dish everytime.. you can't help it.. its delicious and enjoyable everytime, even though you might say 'oh I should order the roast chicken it looks good..' you always just curse and order the patty melt.. I know its a random example. I mean for me I know its Talay Thai's drunken noodles with pork.

I think we did a Top Ten desserts way back close to the beginning of this blog.
However, maybe there are new desserts we didn't know about last year.
That's the great thing about my job. There are always new desserts. :-)

It is spring...time to start thinking of carry out to eat in parks, or ice cream and such to eat while strolling.
Either could work. Also, we are nearly to the start of salad season, so how about top 10 salads?

Top 10 places you choose for the atmosphere, not necessarily the food.

We are always talking about great food and complaining about bad service-why not reward the restaurants with wonderful service (or a particular server!) with a top 10 for best service

Top 10 ethnic groceries? Those are usually good for inspiration when you don't feel like cooking. Heck, some of them can turn into insta-dinner with almost no effort, notably Italian groceries. Loaf of bread, hunk of cheese, container of marinated veggies, done.

I have a few suggestions:
1.) Since we're about to tip off March Madness this is a good one: The top 10 places for Buffalo wings (sit down restaurants not carry-outs) . Something tells me that a buffalo wing or two will be consumed over the next three weeks as we head down the Road to the Final Four!.
2.) Top 10 Restaurants to go for Easter Sunday.
3.) Top 10 Mexican restaurants (non-national chains). Although that one might be better to do as we get closer to Cinco de Mayo.

Inspired by the view from your recent review, maybe the top 10 scenic tables?
Another option that we have to deal with in trying to find one- the Top 10 Private Dining Rooms (within existing restaurants).

I second the top 10 brunch places. I was just wishing there had been one of these this weekend when I was looking for a good brunch place on Sunday.

What about a top ten restaurants that you wouldn't expect are kid friendly. My 3 year loves to eat out, and I am tired of Rainforest Cafe's average food, bad service and dirty restaurant and restrooms.
Good idea. EL
