Missing a comment?

I haven't been censoring; I just came upon a few that were unpublished. Not sure how that happened.

One or two of mine went missing--I thought Gailor might have morphed into Rokchik, since we haven't heard from her in a while ...

Maybe she's too busy packing.

If only. My nightmare is that I'll get there and she won't have started. EL

Morph me not masticators, my ghosty visage is wan on the wane in the look-see glass.

Too bad rokchik, I've been dancing around all morning singing, "I Feel Pretty". Now I'm back to being a gimpy goy in a grey suit. Way to kill a dream.

You do DevilChild an injustice. Gailor will have started packing: all six of the boxes she got from the local liquor store. The fact that she needs 50 boxes and doesn't know where to buy them is a small thing, best left to Mom.

My rule of thumb for moving is that we always end up about 40 boxes short of what we actually need.

When moving, if you have any stuff that's still in boxes from the previous move, accept reality and get rid of it.

I moved into the house I live in now in 1972. The very thought of packing all my stuff up causes an anxiety attack of major proportions

I hear that! I've only lived here since 1991 (the longest I've ever lived in the same place), but I already feel the same say.

I once talked to someone who threw out 6 boxes she never unpacked after her last move. She thought, "Whatever it is, I haven't missed it," and just put it all out with the trash. I could NEVER do that--it might be Grandmother's photos.

When my parents went out to Cali for my graduation, they were horrified by how much had left to be packed up and moved before 8am Monday. And my dorm room was only 10x10. Enjoy!

I. Don't. Move. EL

We want pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. (I sorry, its unkind to enjoy another's distress this much.)

Moving is a standard nightmare for me. I don't have a place to move to and nothing is packed. Plus the zombies. Damned zombies.

Schadenfreude!

A little late but ... time to poke the pig ... VDpork, when you were dancing around singing show tunes were you also lowering a bucket to a girl in a well and saying "It puts the lotion on or it gets the hose"? Just curious.
