How to link in a comment

Maybe this will work. Here's how you create a link in a comment:

<a xhref="the URL here" rel="nofollow">the link here</a>.

Actually it doesn't work because the crack blogware makes an unnecessary "x" appear before the "h" in an entry post, and it shouldn't be there. Maybe one of our Web Editors will explain why. So if you use it, take the x out first.

It worked fine for me as is.

Here's the weird thing, though. At the point you posted, the entry didn't have the x in it. Somehow the x crept in. When I first saw it my eyes bugged out, and I thought maybe someone higher up had corrected me, even though I knew it worked as is. So I took the x out, saved, and Voila! it had the x again. Someone reading this could probably explain why.
