Sunrise on Sunset

Sunrise.jpg

I wasn't going to say anything, and then I looked at today's weather forecast, and I just can't resist. Ha ha. ...

Yes. I'm in LA.  I fled here last night with my frequent flyer miles when I couldn't take it anymore.

Here's a photo I shot this morning when my daughter and I walked down Sunset to the Coffee Bean for breakfast.

Why were we not eating in her apartment? Here's the photo I took of her fridge on a previous visit.

Elizabeth, this is NOT what this California native wants to see after slipping and sliding home in freezing drizzle. Just plain mean!

You are MEAN.

Oh, that's just cruel. May all your crabcakes be made with asian crab.

I was in So. Cal last October and I'll take the snow and ice over the wildfires. At least I don't have to be evacuated twice a year because of the latter, and I still have a warm home to come to :)

Bright sunshine and 73 degrees today, baby.

SADIST!

Ok, except when there's no smog, or earthquakes, or criminally outrageous gas prices (SF, SJ, SD, Sacramento, LA in that order as most expensive), etc., I would rather be in Cali too...

He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.
