Next Tuesday's Top Ten

Recently I got an e-mail from someone saying he had read about wine bars, and wondered if we had any of those here in this area.

And Darlene asked under my last next Top Ten post if we even had ten wine bars in Charm City.

I'm not sure I can come up with ten within the city limits, but I don't think we'll have to go very far. So next Tuesday look for my list, with a little help from my friends, of Top Ten Wine Bars. Suggestions welcome.

How well do you know your wine bars? Anyone care to take a guess about the one pictured?

I recently noticed that Patrick's on Pratt promotes iteself on the outdoor awning as the best Irish coffee and wine bar - or something like that. Every time I drive by I basically scratch my head in bewilderment. Who knew? Maybe it will make your list? I'm throwing in a wild guess of Metropolitan on S. Charles for the photo.

I'm guessing one of the outdoor tables at Belvedere Square's winebar.

I'm guesing either the Wine Market or the Bicycle

It's the Wine Market.

Okay--I'm awake now. I think it's Grand Cru at Belvedere Square (and the only wine bar I've ever been to in Baltimore).

Must be the Wine Market; the flower pot is a giveaway?

Yep

I second the vote for Grand Cru.
