Dining Guide tomorrow

DiningGuide.jpg

Be sure to look out for the Dining Guide tomorrow. It's inside the LIVE section.

We've got mini-reviews of 40 restaurants, plus an excellent story by Happy Eater (and Beer Blogger) Rob on crossover wines, which he explains as "not too red and not too white."

My crossover wine is champagne, which goes with everything, including Twinkies.

I'm so glad one of my favorites was included in the Guide. Orchard Market & Cafe in Towson has consistently terrific Persian food at great prices, and wonderful service (thanks, Jason, for always making us feel "at home"!). I hope this smallish family-run restaurant is around for a loooong time!!

Elizabeth,
I so agree about the champagne! Twinkies I'm not too crazy about- more a Ding Dong woman. Champagne does go well with fruitcake, too- we all adore the recipe from my mother-in-law, Rita Carroll Delclos. If you like rum raisin or frozen pudding (New England flavor) ice cream, you'd love her fruitcake. Thanks, B.
