Best sugar fix in Baltimore?

cookiepak.gif

Mdlrvrmuncher  brought up a subject of intense interest to two thirds of Baltimore natives: ...

Berger cookies. As he says, the best sugar fix in Baltimore.

That got me to thinking about other homegrown sugary treats, which we love even if there are more high-falutin' ones out there.

*Baugher's ice cream

*Wockenfuss chocolates

*Rheb's homemade candies

*Vaccaro's cannoli

The must be more, but I just can't think of them. And no, places like Moxley's don't count. They have to have been around since the dawn of time.

I have a feeling there's an iconic kettle corn company, but I don't know which one it is.

Suggestions of other uniquely Maryland sugar fixes welcome.

Mary Sue Easter Eggs still rock, as do Goetze's Caramel Creams.

Naron Easter eggs are a (small) step above Mary Sue, but the only place I can find em is Greetings & Readings.

Do Bomboy's Homemade Candies count? It's in Havre de Grace, but also sold on-line.

How about Otterbein's Bakery sugar or lemon cookies? Thin, crisp, and very tasty. Otterbein's has been around forever, but now they sell the cookies in stores like Wegman's and Royal Farms.

Black Russian cake and Lemon Lust by Desserts By Rita (in Havre de Grace or Bishopville) are awesome.

A.Kirchmayr Choclatier on Deereco Rd. in Timonium.
Chocolates and truffles.

how about the caramel corn from Fisher's in Ocean City?

Definitely Berger Cookies, they're great!!! But you can only have a couple, they're so sweet!

don't forget Moore's Candies, also a local chocolate company. Scrumptous gourmet pretzels!

Do you have any discount or coupon codes for Mary Sue Candies? At the
checkout on Mary Sue page there is a box for discount code and I've looked and searched but can't find any. Just trying to save a buck! ;)
