No review preview today

That's because the review I didn't write while I was on vacation won't be appearing next week. It will say I'm on vacation next Sunday, but actually it will be my column that will be on vacation. I'm back in town and I'll be at work tomorrow.

I know, it's confusing.

I have never understood why the Sun doesn't print anything when you go on vacation? Why not have a guest reviewer. It could be someone in house like Rob Kasper or maybe someone from the outside like a retired chef.

The other idea would be to reprint an old review. I'm talking about something that is decades old. I don't know when the Sun started doing reviews, but I know it goes back to the 80's because places like the Panda Gourmet on Falls Road have a Sun review from the early 80's framed. How neat would it be to see a review from the 70's about places like the Chesapeake or Marconi's or Sabatino's.
