Need a treat?

cherries

Cacoa Lorenzo Chocolatier has fresh chocolate cherries Friday afternoons and Saturdays during cherry season (until about mid-July). The cherries are dipped in dark French chocolate and then dipped again in milk chocolate.

My favorite chocolatier in Baltimore is Albert Kirchmayr. His chocolate shop used to be tucked away sort of behind the Eddies on N. Charles Street, and is now in Timonium. He has this layered gianduia that literally melts in your mouth. Heaven.

He takes restaurants seriously but not himself, and his favorite restaurant is the one you love, too.
