Elizabeth, that's a flavor you're more likely to see around the Christmas holiday season, but your reader should check with Moxley's, a local ice cream manufacturer. The Lucky Inn Chinese Restaurant serves peppermint ice cream and it is really good. They are located at 8924 Waltham Woods Road . This is off Joppa Road in the same shopping center as Safeway, Bill Batemans and Kmart.

If you're out in Westminster - Hoffman's makes a great Peppermint Ice Cream, but it is seasonal. I am not sure if they have it now, if not, It'll show up towards the end of the year.

Soften one pint of vanilla ice cream, fold in about 1 tbl peppermint extrct and some crushed peppermint candies. Put back in the freezer (th candies will soften slightly in the freezer). Enjoy whenever you want!
