Vintage cars (1937-1953) needed for "My One and Only"

Thom Lombardi

Thom Lombardi, picture car coordinator (bet you never even knew there was such a job, did you?) for My One and Only, the Renee Zellweger film being shot in the Baltimore area through July, wants your old cars.

Not just any old cars; he's only interested if they were manufactured between 1937 and 1953. And he doesn't want to buy them, just borrow them long enough for an appearance in the film, which is set in the early 1950s.

He's already collected about 150 cars, including a robin's-egg blue 1953 Cadillac Eldorado on loan from an Australian collector. But he needs more, especially as filming moves from the rural outposts of northwestern Baltimore County, where shooting in going on this week, to Baltimore proper.

If you've got a car that's yearning to be a movie star, give Thom a call at 410-746-7334, or email him at midatlanticpicturecars@gmail.com.
