Mo'Nique back in Baltimore

Brad Schleicher reports:

Actress and comedian Mo'Nique will be in Baltimore tomorrow night, appearing at the hometown red-carpet premiere of her new film, Welcome Home Roscoe Jenkins.

Featuring an ensemble cast that includes Martin Lawrence, James Earl Jones, Margaret Avery, Cedric the Entertainer and Michael Clarke Duncan, the film follows the successful TV talk show host Dr. R.J. Stevens aka Roscoe Jenkins (Lawrence) as he reunites with his family in the Deep South for the first time in nine years.

Mo'Nique, who plays Stevens' sassy and promiscuous sister in the film, is scheduled to arrive at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow at the Charles Theatre, 1711 N. Charles St.
