'One Mosaic: Many Voices' at UB tonight
Tonight, from 4:30-7 p.m., the University of Baltimore’s Langsdale Library will present "One Mosaic: Many Voices," in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The event commemorates the legacy of Dr. King and includes the exhibit opening for the Baltimore '68: Riots and Rebirth mosaic monument, which was designed and constructed by a diverse group of Baltimoreans.
Visitors will have the opportunity to record their personal reflections and/or memories onto a handmade memory quilt, which will ultimately be displayed alongside the mosaic.
Location: UB's Langsdale Library, 1420 Maryland Ave., Baltimore, Md. 21201
4:30-6 p.m.: Gallery opening with multimedia showing
