Apple's iPad -- video of the e-book reader

Here's video of the iPad's e-reader -- it's about a minute in. I loved the image of books on a shelf -- nice comibination of new/old schools. Nancy has dismissed the iPad as a heavier, bulkier Kindle. Others say the iPad will be the death of the Kindle. So who's right?

I'm not sure. It's a lot more expensive than a Kindle. One thing in the Kindle's favor is that I've had great luck with customer service with amazon, but not so much with Apple.

I remember using a Ronco product once that was designed like this- for a high apartment window? you would put 1/2- the half w the sponge outside the window and a magnet was supposed to hold it while you swiped? Imagine how well that worked.
But wait there's more.
What I'm trying to say is-
a big gadget- like the computer- well, it has helped me word process- but (especially in my case)
it's garbage in, garbage out.
I'm not saying this new gadget will hurt you- but will it really help? Too much of the media is just selling things, thinly disguised.
Do we get steak knives with this- but wait there's more.
Will this help glacially slow politicians move forward in DC? or Annapolis?
Puhleez.... it's bowflex, it's roller derby vacuums- but wait...
o o here comes the capcha where words bleed over in balck into white and you can't eread them- i think it's our coolly- but it could be our caolly?

Actually, I could download my favorite book- posssibly the most beautiful one in the world- to it- Redoute's A Choice of the Best Fruits and Flowers

capcha:
peltz winces

(shouldn't it be "pelts" winces?
