Michael Jackson autobiography coming back

Michael Jackson's 1988 autobiography, Moonwalk, is coming back to bookstores this fall.
The book, in which Jackson talks of his fame, music career and famous family, will be released in October, Reuters reports. It will sell for $25 and will have a new introduction by an as yet unnamed celebrity. Did someone say "Liza"?
Moonwalk was No. 1 on The New York Times best-seller list in 1988. It may be headed there again, as the frenzy over his June death continues.

I'm sure we'll be seeing lots of Michael Jackson books this fall. I doubt I'll be reading any of them.

Michael was and always will be the greatest. No one can take his place.R.I.P Michael Joseph Jackson. I love u! I am sorry for ur loss jackson family especially the kids.

I READ A THE PDF FILE, I WAS GOING TO BUY THIS BOOK FOR $200+. I AM SO HAPPY THAT I WILL GET TO BUY IT FOR $25. I WAS SO AMAZED AT THIS BOOK.... MJ KEEPS YOU WANTING FOR MORE AND IT IS VERY HELPFUL IF YOU TRY TO UNDERSTAND HIM.

That's the one Jacqueline Onassis edited. The first run sold out, and they wanted to print a second run as well as publish a paperback - but Jackson had approval rights and nixed it.

Quincy Jones and Diana Ross are the names I've heard mentioned for the foreword since the knew him as a child and had a long professional relationship with him. Moonwalk is the only Jackson book I'll read.

Great news! I'm glad they are reprinting the autobiography - I've been dying to get my hands on one. Everywhere is selling it for $200+ USED. I just want to read it, not necessarily own it, but what I really, REALLY don't want to see is the publishing companies wanting to make great profits out of it... I read an article indicating that they want the books reprinted ASAP so that they can still sell while MJ's death is still in the heat... that just disturbs me greatly...

I will, for sure.

Michael Jackson will always be the greatest entertainer in history. RIP

Publishers were interested in getting Michael Jackson“s book reprinted as soon as possible for obvious reasons. When nostalgia is at its height, sales are likely to be highest as well. As brand expert John Tantillo pointed out on his post on Michael Jackson“s brand: "You know a brand is strong when people would rather that none of the scandal had ever happened to it."
