Sarah Palin's book takes aim
Did you expect Sarah Palin's memoir to highlight the joys of living amid the natural splendor of Wasilla, Alaska? Judging by her pick for a collaborator, Republican Palin will use the book to come out swinging -- and keep swinging -- just as she did in her campaign for the vice presidency.
A spokeswoman for SarahPAC, the Alaska governor's political action committee, said this week that the collaborator would be Lynn Vincent, a features editor for World magazine, a conservative Christian publication. Vincent's writing credentials include several books, among them Same Kind of Different As Me, The Blood of Lambs and Donkey Cons: Sex, Crime and Corruption in the Democratic Party.
The publisher's description of Donkey Cons says it "reveals ... How Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, and John F. Kennedy were elected with the help of the Mob; What two eyewitnesses said about JFK's obsession with hookers [and] ... Why Democrats ignore crime victims and take the side of rapists, robbers, and cop-killers-then stump for the right of felons to vote!"
Sounds like the sort of partisan feistiness that meshes with Palin's style. The book, currently untitled, is scheduled for release next year by HarperCollins, according to the Associated Press.

By stating the truth as one sees it can be disturbing to those that ignore it. As the famous line in " Few Good Men" when Jack Nicholson states " You can't stand the truth". My prediction is it will be the number one best seller of 2010 and the left leaning media will receive another black eye.

Just because it appears in print does not mean it has to be true. A fact that Palin--an individual well capable of creating her own "truth"--is used to manipulating. Will it be a bestseller? Yes -- because it's sensational, not because it's true. Will I buy it? Absolutely not. I never read books written by people who never read books.

With Washington lurching far left, an historian on the lurching far right will enable Sarah Palin to show how working-class and middle-class Americans are always thrown in a ditch by both. Go Sarah!

"Sounds like the sort of partisan feistiness that meshes with Palin's style." -- Yeah, it's a huge departure from all the left-wing, anti-American books written under the evil Bush regime.

The far-right still whines of a "left-wing media conspiracy!" The Palinbots think this book is going to help Sarah Palin. LOL! This book is going to be trash and full of lies. Just a re-hash of what she has been whining about for months! Sarah Palin is not "hard-working." And how may middle-class people have a multi-million dollar book deal? Sarah Palin is a destructive narcissist, who never takes responsibility for her actions. And SHE is the one who will end up with yet another black eye! Can't wait for the primaries. She has no idea what she is getting into. "Go, Sarah!" Off a cliff!

The term non partisan or bi partisan as used by Obama and Pelosi means, if you dont agree with us completely you are being obstructionist ad"no". The true no is a refusal to consider republican amendments...but this administration says" We Won"- so where is this partisan fetish you speak of- are you so immersed in Globama that you cant see the Partisan politics of Obama, Emmauel, Reid and Pelosi and their left wing partisan fetishness. Be far in your reporting, fair balanced.

>Anon., I didn't want to leave the impression that I think Palin is the only politician to load her book with partisan scattershot. As I've said in previous posts, I'm reluctant to read politicians' books because they all seem calculated as part of a broad marketing plan. (I haven't read anything by Obama, either) I'd much rather read the memoir of someone removed from the daily battle. Once Dick Cheney retires, for example,I'll be interested to read his memoir.

This can be REAL bad. Just look at our bleloved DIxi-Crats blocking voting rights for blacks.
It used to be cool to discriminate...even Al Gore's father voted AGAINST the Civil Righs Act of 1964.
While I'm busy raping and killing, I'll happily point foible at those 'other' folks that think, feel and poop different than I.
