Favorite book for a snow day
There's no such thing as a snow day in the newspaper business, unfortunately. During even the biggest blizzards, you're expected to come to work.
But for all those folks lucky enough to have a day off while Baltimore digs out, why not relax for a few hours with a "snowy" book?
Here's one: David Guterson's Snow Falling on Cedars.

Comments
Maybe something Christmas-y, like Little Women. Or anything from the Little House series. Those girls were always digging out the root cellar or something to prepare for a blizzard.
So basically, something Little.

I just want to say that I do not recommend reading "Into the Wild" in this weather. It made the snow that much creepier.
