Just got back from the job site and it is absolutely worth seeing. It is HUGE, encompassing almost an entire square block of hard core construction work and they have about 10 square blocks quardened off to park trucks and stage equipment on.

Sorry I couldn't make it to Baltimore to help. I worked on a home in VA a couple of years ago with EMHE and it was the most wonderful experience I could ever wish for. Met so many wonderful people with one purpose, to help someone else. I have never seen anything so fascinating as what and how Ty, the designers and thousands of volunteers worked together to accomplish their goal. Very sore the next day but would do it 100 times over. Congratulations to each and every one of you who are a part of this. It will come back to you ten fold. D.

Its been great up there the whole city has pulled together and did this home. Its definitely a home built with love, and when the girls come home it will be a home full of love. I have been there everday this week and I realize we have some remarkable people here in baltimore. If you missed out on this project you surely are missing a blessing.

It looks like ABC2 is blowing the Sun out of the water with coverage of the EMHE house. Timothy Dean's Top Chef departure is getting more coverage - ugh!

I would sure hope ABC is giving it more coverage than us, considering that Extreme Makeover is, you know, an ABC television show. :-)

That's a lot for what is essentially a single news event, albeit one lasting about a week.
