Housing fair this Saturday

Maryland ACORN is holding a housing fair this Saturday for renters, first-time homebuyers and homeowners in need of foreclosure-prevention help.

The free event, scheduled from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Baltimore City College, 3220 The Alameda, will also include tax preparation for people who are behind or need help with the paperwork for the stimulus checks. And you can find out if you qualify for weatherization, energy assistance and the like.

ACORN suggests pre-registering so you can find out what information you'll need to bring if you're interested in a specific service. Call 410-735-3360.
