I have been reading through your answers to readers about the first time home buyers credit but haven't found one that applies to my situation. I currently own my own home. I was wonder if I could buy a house in my cat's name and he could qualify for the credit? Scruffy has never owned his own home. Also if that doesn't work I have a few spider plants. Perhaps there is another way? Remember I have no moral qualms about tax law and will do pretty much anything for $8000 off a house.
