Be like Jerry
I've really been putting off shopping for presents this year. But when I start, I'm going to be more like Jerry. Every week, he shares some amazing story about how much he saved on something he bought. So I thought, maybe everyone should be more like Jerry.
The great thing about Bargain Hunter Jerry is that he wants to help all of us be more like him, too. So here are his favorite shopping Web sites so you don't have to wait outside all night long for a deal.
Try them out and let me know how it works out for you. Or write in if you have an even better tip that Jerry and the rest of us can add to our repertoire!

Jerry says:
Slickdeals: A quick fix to see the latest deals on the web. The front pages usually lists a couple of the best deals each day that have been discovered in the forums. A sampling of the most discussed topics is listed on the right side of the page.
Fatwallet: Another site with some great forums. The hotdeals forum is similar to slickdeals but more active. They also have a finance forum, free stuff forum and travel deals.
Currentcodes: A database of free shipping and percent off codes for online shopping. This site can often make a good deal even better.
Upromise: Not really a deal site. Upromise bills itself as a College savings plan. If you, register and shop through the links on their site they skim a percentage of what you spend with other merchants and put it into a savings account for college. Most merchants give 1 2% back. (Priceline is 2%) Some give more. Just doing that will never fund a college education with it might buy textbooks down the line. Fatwallet.com also has a cashback program if you shop through their links. This might be more worthwhile if you are not saving for college.
